Hi im Brittany…

I’m the calligrapher behind Perlamaz Ink LLC (formally known as Brittany’s Calligrapher Studio). I’m located in the beautiful city if Denver, Colorado. I’ve been pursuing calligraphy since 2017 however, it has always been a passion of mine since I was a young girl. Growing up one of my Aunt’s did calligraphy and I remember being so mesmerized by her beautiful letters. I was constantly watching her write, just trying to soak up all that I could so that I could attempt to replicate it. She would show me little things here and there, then slowly I picked up the skill. It was just a hobby at first, nothing I took too seriously, until one day I realized that this could be an actual career! My mind was blown, I had no idea that people actually hired people to do calligraphy! That triggered something in me and that’s when Perlamaz Ink was born.

Fast forward to a few years later, by this point I had taught myself how to use several calligraphy tools to stretch my talent even further. I took short videos of myself writing and started sharing them on my personal social media pages. My work started gaining attention so I decided to create a public Instagram page to see just how far I could take this. That is really what jumped started my career and helped me gain exposure. I basically dived in head first and learned the ins and outs of the industry. It was pretty tough navigating how to start a creative business with a limited amount of resources out there however, starting PMI has been the best decision I’ve ever made. I’ve never been happier and felt more complete. As my business continues to grow, I’m enjoying every single learning curve that comes my way applying the knowledge to build a solid foundation.

On to other non-business related stuff, when I’m not hard at work lettering, I’m hanging out with my family or exploring the city. I love to go out and find new restaurants and attractions to try. Supporting small businesses has always been important to me, so I’m always out looking for an opportunity to put my time and money back into the community.
